Maximise recycled content

What is recycled content, and how can I include this in my packaging?

To ensure natural resources are preserved, Detpak is a demonstrated leader in partnering with customers, suppliers, industry, and regulators to increase recycled content in packaging.

Here are some examples of how Detpak provides you with sustainable choices for maximising recycled content.

Recycled Content is the total percentage of recovered materials by mass in a product. This can include pre-consumer and/or post-consumer inputs. This can include tree-fibre or plastic based products as an example.

It is important to note, every time fibre is recycled it breaks down, getting shorter, losing some strength and moisture resistance.  In order to ensure all Detpak recycled content products are fit-for-purpose, our dedicated one-of-a-kind fit-for-purpose testing & re-pulpability facility, rigorously tests and validates all products.

In addition, all materials used in Detpak products, including those containing recycled content, comply with global food safety standards.
