Let’s make the move to a circular economy

May 20, 2019

As the popularity of food delivery increases so does the demand for packaging.

But as this demand increases, so do concerns for the environment and how the convenience of food delivery can exist and be sustainable.

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation is a global agency working toward educating countries, organisations and companies about how to move to a circular economy.

Currently most of the world uses a linear model – where we take, make, use and dispose to landfill, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation is working to move toward a circular economy where resources are kept at their highest value for as long as possible.

To support this move to a circular economy, we champion recycling as the ultimate option for single use packaging.

Global companies are committing to all packaging being:

  • reusable;
  • recyclable;
  • or compostable by 2025.
