Mary and a Little Lamb

Bringing flavour and life to Greek Street food, Mary and a Little Lamb is a food truck with a proud reputation for pulling together the freshest local produce from Victoria, Australia, to create unique and popular dishes.

Challenge

Mary and a Little Lamb is a popular food truck, offering up age-old Greek recipes with modern twists. The fresh food and unique flavours have drawn the interest of Victorian consumers. Also offering up their trademark tastes at a number of events or sporting matches, Mary and a Little Lamb were looking for functional packaging to support food consumed while on the move.

Process

With packaging playing a role in the presentation of the masterpieces from Mary and a Little Lamb, the trick was in sourcing packaging products to support a comprehensive menu and different food options, Wanting their food to be highly visible and easily sharable, opting for an open food tray was also a sustainable option, with the Endura range able to be recycled or composted. Available in a variety of sizes, the Endura range provided flexibility to support many different menu options.

Impact

Providing a functional solution, the Endura range is made of a corrugated board, meaning it won’t compromise on strength when carrying a hot meal at an event. Also being recyclable or compostable, the Endura Range gave consumers of Mary and a Little Lamb the ability to responsibly dispose of their packaging.

Selecting a range of tray sizes has helped us in selecting the most appropriate size to promote functionality of the packaging product and the way it displays our food.
